Hogwarts Legacy features numerous hidden side quests scattered across its vast open world, one of which is the intriguing Well Well Well mission. This quest begins when players encounter a magical talking well that coughs up a mysterious treasure map. Deciphering this map leads players on an exploration journey through the Scottish Highlands to claim hidden gear and rewards.
Finding the Magical Talking Well
To initiate the quest, travel to the South Hogwarts Region located just southeast of the hamlet of Aranshire. In a small valley area along the mountains, you will find an old stone well calling out for assistance. Interacting with the well reveals that someone dropped a piece of parchment inside, which serves as the quest's treasure map.
Deciphering the Treasure Map Location
The map provided by the well depicts a sketch of ruined structures connected by a bridge next to a waterfall. Identifying this location requires looking far south toward the Feldcroft Region, past the hamlet of Irondale. Navigating over the gorge to the cliffside ruins brings players directly to the spot illustrated on the parchment.
Unlocking the Treasure Chest
Once at the ruins near Irondale, locate the prominent tree growing inside the stone structure encircled by walls. Cast the Levioso spell on the tree to lift it into the air and expose its root system. Entwined within the roots is a hidden chest containing 400 gold and the Treasure Seeker's Bicorne Hat, officially completing the quest.
